Two types of engines 

STEAM ENGINE :-

In 20th centuries steam engine was most developed engine it is successful because of the public familiarity and one more reason is that it is less expensive than other cars  , in the middle  steam engine had some issue due to popularity, it is difficult to drive and take time to start approximately 30 minutes and had a risk of engine explosion and they were heavy and relatively inefficient and have a limited miles after 1920 there were no steam engine in road

 

ELECTRIC ENGINE :- 

In the end of 19th century electric engine have popularity among people .it have many advantages rather than other. It is clean, quiet, dependable and easy to drive. And it has biggest disadvantage of battery system and it has a range of 25-40 miles. It is mostly used in urban areas and in rural communities they had electricity in limited hours. And electric batteries require some maintained, and were prone to breakdown. While it have some limited batteries so it is mainly uses in taxi service . It has popularity in countries rather than horse and carriage for Promenading. Electric car give us a luxury vibe .
